21, 21, 22 , 22

One day a young girl is waiting at a train station when she hears someone muttering behind her. She turns around to see a woman sitting on a bench, her arms behind her back, rocking backwards and forwards and chanting, ”21, 21, 21’.” She can see the woman is clearly distressed, so goes over to ask her what the matter is but gets no response. Suddenly she hears her train coming and the woman on the bench launches herself at the young girl, pushing her into the path of the oncoming train. The women then sits back down on the bench, arms behind her back, and begins to count: ”22, 22, 22…..”
