The Hello Kitty Murder

The Hello Kitty Murder in Hong Kong refers to the case of a night club hostess, Fan Man-yee who was kidnapped and tortured in an apartment in 1999. She was decapitated and her head was put in a Hello Kitty doll, hence the name of the case
After a month of imprisonment and torture, she was killed, dismembered and her skull was stuffed into a giant Hello Kitty mermaid doll. They discarded most of the other body parts. Only the woman’s skull, one tooth and some internal organs were recovered
The killing was exposed after the 14-year-old girlfriend of one of the three perpetrators reported having continual dreams of being haunted by Fan’s ghost.
The court debated whether she died from drug overdose or torture, nevertheless the court sentenced the 3 men to life in prison.
I really don’t want to go into the brutal details, because I can’t stand gore but you can read about it here

Kisaragi Station

In 2004, a 2ch user called Hasumi posted in the middle of a thread entitled “Post About Strange Occurrences Around You: Thread 26.”
Below the cut is the 2ch log of the incident:

RECYCLED

I was in a station, sitting on a bench and waiting for the train to come.

Presently, a lady holding a baby to her breast sat down next to me.

Well I’m fond of children and I couldn’t help but stare at the sweet-looking baby.
The  lady noticed this and she started chatting to me in a friendly manner.

THE WORRYING NURSES

My friend had a motorbike accident and he was in a hospital until just recently.

The hospital is large, quite old but known for having cutting-edge equipment, and we have never heard any bad rumors about it. My friend could just be making the whole thing up.

My friend damaged his collarbone in the accident but it was only a light scar (though he needed an operation) and he was told he would be out within a week.

This happened apparently two days before he was discharged.

If you have ever stayed in hospital you know how early they turn the lights off at night. Each bed, however, is usually equipped with a lamp that gives off enough light for reading. My friend was reading a comic book under such a lamp when he felt the call of nature (not pee, but the other one). He got up from the bed, put his feet in slippers, and went out into the corridor.

A corridor at night in hospital sounds spooky, but in reality, he said it was not that bad because there was still some light, and also because he was a bit hyper thinking he would be out of this place in two days. It was very quiet, but that was all.

My friend reached the lavatory and went into one of the cubicles.

After he had finished his business, he kept on reading the comic book in the cubicle when he heard a patter of footsteps going down the corridor.

Just as he thought ‘someone is coming here,’ the footsteps stopped in front of the lavatory.

The Red Robe

A Japanese girl traveled to Taiwan on holiday. She decided to stay in a cheap hotel to save money. When she got to her room and began to unpack, she realized that the hotel receptionist had given her room 66 on the 6th floor. A chill went down her spine. Technically, that was 666.
While unpacking her things, she heard someone knocking the door to her room. She opened the door but there was nobody there. She poked her head out and looked around, but she did not see anyone in the corridor. The girl figured it was just her imagination, so she shut the door and resumed unpacking.
Suddenly, there was another knock on the door. This time, when she opened the door, there was a woman standing outside wearing a red bathrobe. The strange woman was crying and shaking. She told the girl that she had accidentally locked herself out of her room. The strange woman also said that she was having problems with her husband and she was really depressed and suicidal.
The girl felt sorry for the strange woman, so she offered to go down to the lobby and get a replacement key for her from the hotel receptionist. However, when the girl took the elevator down to the lobby, it was empty. She did not find anyone at reception.
She rang the bell on the desk and waited. After a few minutes, the receptionist appeared and the girl asked her for a replacement key for the room of the woman in the red robe.

Receptionist: “The woman in the red robe?… What woman in a red robe?”

New House

A family moved to a new banglo and organized a home party to celebrate their new home .Suddenly they heard the sound:

Another Mirror

While brushing your teeth in the evening, you catch a glimpse of your wall mirror, covered in fingerprints.
Annoyed, you grab a towel and rub at them. They remain.
Upon closer inspection, you realize that they seem to be on the other side of the glass.

The Kitchen

A young girl is playing in her bedroom when she hears her mother call to her from the kitchen, so she runs downstairs to meet her mother.
As she’s running through the hallway, the door to the cupboard under the stairs opens, and a hand reaches out and pulls her in. It’s her mother. She whispers to her child, “Don’t go into the kitchen. I heard it too.”

Kashima Reiko

Kashima Reiko is a Japanese urban legend about the ghost of a woman with no legs who haunts school bathrooms.
WARNING: They say that after you hear the story of Kashima Reiko, she will appear to you within a month. If you don’t want to see her, don’t read this.

Kashima Reiko is the ghost of a woman who lived in the city of Hokkaido, in Japan. One night, she was attacked by a group of men. The beat her badly, abused her horribly and then left her for dead.
She tried to call for help but nobody heard her. She tried to find someone to help her, but she crawled onto a railway track and collapsed, unconcious. The train came along and ran her over, killing her and cutting her in two. Her body was severed at the waist.
Ever since then, Kashima Reiko’s vengeful ghost has wandered the world, searching for her missing legs. She is mainly encountered in school bathrooms, but also may appear in your bathroom at home in the middle of the night.
When you enter the bathroom, she will ask you questions. If you cannot answer her questions correctly, she will tear off your legs.
If she asks “Where are my legs?”, the answer is “On the Meishin Expressway.”
She will say “Who told you that?” You should reply “Kashima Reiko told me that.”
Sometimes she asks a trick question, “Do you know my name?” Do not say “Kashima” or she will kill you. The correct answer is “Mask Death Demon”. Ka-Shi-ma stands for Ka = Kamen (Mask), Shi = Shinin (dead person), Ma = Ma (Demon).

It is said that after you hear the story of Kashima Reiko, she will appear to you within a month.

The Elevator Murderer

The story goes like this: you decide to ride the elevator, you’re going up. The murderer will get in with you. He’ll wait for you to press a button and then he’ll press the button of the floor right below you. When you get to that floor, the door will open and the murderer will go out. As the doors are about to completely close, he will turn around and in the small opening between the two doors, you’ll see his knife. Then you’ll hear him say, “I’m gonna kill you at the next floor.” He’ll then run up the stairs and wait for you. When the doors open, he will be there and kill you. The worse part is not the death itself, but the sheer horror you’ll experience in between those two floors, when you’re trapped in the elevator and you know you’re going to get slashed.

The Children Upstairs

A man was injured in a car accident and had to stay at home for a few weeks until he recovered. His wife was working and can’t take care of him. It was too painful for him to go outside, so he had to spend most of his time in the apartment. For the first couple of days, it was easy. He had a lot of things to do. But after a few days had passed, he became very bored.

One day, he was watching TV when he happened to hear footsteps and children’s voices coming from the apartment above him. He wondered why the children were home, because the schools were not on holidays yet. The next day, he heard the same footsteps and children’s voices. It sounded like there were two children playing.

The next day, the man grew even more bored and doesn’t feel like cooking lunch for himself. Instead, he ordered a pizza delivery. As it turned out, he ordered too much and when he finished eating, there was still one whole pizza lying untouched on the kitchen table. He remembered that there were some children living in the apartment above him, so he decided that they may like a free pizza. upstairs and, willing to do something kind, he decided to take the pizza to them.

The man had never met the family who lived in the upstairs apartment, but he rang the doorbell anyway. There was no answer, even though he heard someone moving about inside. He rang the bell again and noticed that someone was peering at him through the peephole.

“Who is it?” called a faint woman’s voice from behind the door.

The man explained that he lived in the apartment below and had some leftover pizza left from lunch and wondered if the family wanted it. The door opened slightly and the man could see part of the woman’s face through the gap. He noticed that it looked unusually dark inside the apartment.

“Thanks, but we don’t want any,” said the woman coldly.

“Maybe your children would like it,” replied the man.

As soon as he said this, two children’s faces lined up below the woman’s face. The door was open still just a crack. The children stared at him. The three faces were forming a line.

“Okay, give it to me then,” said the woman. A hand reached out through the gap and snatched the pizza box.

The man just stood there. The three faces were still staring at him. Then the door slammed shut and he walked away. Something was bothering him. He felt a chill run down his spine.
The image of the three faces was burned into his mind.
He walked faster and reached the elevator.
The faces were forming a line, he thought to himself.
He pressed the button and waited for the elevator to arrive.
Forming a line, vertically. One on top of the other.
He pressed the button again and again, but the lift still did not come.
Something was seriously wrong. The faces…
He began quickly walking down the stairs.
Faces lined up, on top of each other….that’s impossible.
He frantically ran down the stairs.
No bodies.

Finally, he reached his apartment door.
Just hands holding up the heads.
Safely inside his apartment, the man picked up the phone and called the police. He tried to explain what he had seen. When the police arrived, the searched the apartment upstairs and found the bodies of the woman and her two children lying in the bathtub.
Their heads were missing.
They had been decapitated with a saw.
According to the autopsy, they had been dead for three days.
The police found the woman’s husband hiding in a wardrobe. His hands were covered in blood and he had gone completely insane. He kept trying to convince the police officers that his wife and kids were still alive.
They found an uneaten pizza sitting on the kitchen table.

Pontianak

Pontianak – also known as the vampire where it is belief that they are usually ladies dressed in white seeking for revenge. The pontianak is said to be the spirit of a woman died of childbirth and rape victim. Most of the time, they can look very beautiful but if you look closely, she would have razor sharp teeth, slimy ugly face. They usually comes out after the sun sets searching for men or pregnant women (apparently, it is said that she could not bear the thought of other women being able to enjoy motherhood) to suck blood. Sometimes, they even eat the flesh of babies ripped out from their mother’s womb.

Teke Teke

The Teke Teke (also known as Tek-Tek) is a Japanese urban legend about the ghost of a young woman, or school girl, who fell on a rail way line and was cut in half by the oncoming train.

Now a vengeful spirit, she carries a scythe or a saw and travels on either her hand or elbows, her dragging upper torso making a scratching or ‘teke teke’ sound.

If she encounters anyone at night and the victim is not fast enough, she will slice them in half at the torso, mimicking her own disfigurement.

Once, there was a young school boy who was walking home at night and spotted a beautiful young girl standing by a windowsill resting on her elbows. They smiled at each other for a moment. The boy wondered what a girl was doing in an all-boy’s school but before he could ask, she jumped out of the window and revealed that her lower half was missing. Frightened, the boy stood in the sidewalk… but before he could run, the Teke-Teke cut him in two.

ClickHere to watch flash video .

Summary of the flash video :
Two friends discuss a rumor about an Internet pop-up ad that asks “Do you like —?” If someone closes the pop-up, he dies. The more skeptical friend does some investigation. At home, he researches it online but is unable to find anything about the site online. After he ends his search and begins looking at his usual websites, the message pops up, with a childlike voice asking: “Do you like —?”
Even after he closes the pop up, it keeps re-appearing, repeatedly asking ‘Do you like-?’. It then starts automatically reloading and the girls voice becomes mangled till the boy eventually notices the word the question change to ‘Do you like red?’. The boy keeps clicking off the pop-up until a new part of the message is revealed, finally asking the completed question in a normal childs voice” “Do you like the red room?” Then a website with a list of name appears, with the boy’s friend at the bottom. The boy becomes aware of something behind him.
The next day, there is rumour and gossip at a school about two students who committed suicide, painting their rooms red with their own blood. Then, the protagonist’s computer is displayed, with the protagonist’s name at the bottom of the list. It then shuts off, along with an eerie sound.
